Heliskiing on the Arlberg

Unique ski adventure on the Arlberg

Into ski paradise by helicopter

1200-meter, treeless downhill run in glorious powder snow

Heli-skiing and heliboarding on the Arlberg are not only exclusive experiences but are also unique in Austria. As one of the best freeride areas, the Arlberg is also popular for heli-skiing, glorious deep snow downhill runs and all the fresh powder snow you could wish for. At the same time, it is one of the few tourist destinations which still offers heli-skiing helicopter flights. This adventure will become a reality with the guides from Stuben and Wucher Helicopter.

Unspoiled downhill runs and boundless freedom await heli-skiing enthusiasts on the Arlberg. This unique experience is made possible by the ski school in Stuben and its partner Wucher Helicopter, which offer both heli-skiing and heliboarding.

The destination summits are the 2652-meter-high Mehlsack or the Scheetäli (2450 m). Depending on the snow conditions and the sking ability of the group in question, the guides will decide whether to fly to the Mehlsack or the Schneetäli. After the spectacular descent from the helicopter, a sheer, endless, 1200-meter-long downhill run into the Zuger Valley awaits the heliskiers.

The approximately one-hour, treeless downhill run ends in romantic Seitental Zug in Lech. Heli-skiing and heliboarding are only possible with trained ski instructors and mountain guides and during good weather conditions. For this reason, ski guides from Stuben are always present.
