In addition to impressive hiking and mountain routes with interesting flora and fauna, the mountain experience also includes fascinating geological insights. Kaltenberg hut

The Kaltenberghütte is situated in an airy, open balcony location at an altitude of 2,089 meters with a unique terrace and panoramic views. An untouched gem right at the crossroads between the Arlberg, the Klostertal and the Verwall.

There are rooms and dormitories. The hut hosts serve all mountain lovers with regional and homemade delicacies. Only the best food and drinks are served here. Most of the ingredients are sourced regionally from within a radius of around 50 kilometers and from organic mountain farming. The motto is: as local and regional as possible.

Freiburg hut

There are numerous opportunities for walkers, hikers around Lake Formarin, where the Freiburger Hütte is located, Kletterer, Biker and also Fischer. A sunny terrace, several dining rooms, dormitories and mattress dormitories await visitors. The hut has the DAV "family-friendly hut" rating and is suitable for children aged 7 and over. The tenants Kathrin & Florian Mittermayr attach great importance to working with fresh regional organic products and cooperate with a large number of farmers and restaurateurs from the region. J

Göppinger hut

The Alpine Club hut of the DAV Hohenstaufen section lies at 2245 meters above sea level and is located on the Gamsboden in the Lechquellengebirge, above Zug with a magnificent panorama of the surrounding mountains. The hut is fully staffed from the end of June to the beginning of October. The hut has rooms and dormitories as well as a winter room for a maximum of 74 people. Advance booking is requested (reservations are held until 5.00 pm). From the end of June to the beginning of October, the tenants ask you to book by telephone, as emails can only be answered to a limited extent.

Ulm hut

The Ulmer Hütte is an Alpine club hut run by the Ulm section of the German Alpine Club. It is located at 2288 meters above sea level, surrounded by the world-famous winter sports resorts around St. Anton am Arlberg (St. Christoph, Lech, Zürs). The Alpenvereinshütte was built in 1903 and has been continuously extended and today offers all the comforts of a mountain inn. Today it is located in the middle of the fashionable Arlberg ski area, right next to the piste and is therefore easily accessible in winter too. In summer, it is the base for the Lechtaler Höhenweg trail.

Ravensburg hut

The Ravensburger Hütte is located at 1984 meters above sea level and was built in 1912 by the DAV Ravensburg. During the extension in 2009, special attention was paid to modern furnishings in the style of an original and traditional mountaineering lodge. Families feel just as comfortable in the two cozy guest lounges with tiled stoves as mountaineers, hikers and groups. On sunny days, older guests can indulge themselves on the sun terrace. The little ones can play in the playground with playhouse, slide and sandpit next door.

Stuttgart hut

Located in the Lechtal Alps, the hut is ideal for hikes, Mountain and climbing tours (Roggspitze). There are 36 dormitories and 20 mattress dormitories available for overnight stays. The winter room for Alpine Club members has 12 mattress dormitories (always open).
