We start the round-trip tour counterclockwise and head towards the Great Walsertal after passing through Bludenz, which is reached via the Klostertal.
From here, we venture up to a great spot for a coffee break at an altitude of nearly 1,500 meters. The cafe Lari Fari, located just before the you leave the town, is particularly popular with motorcyclists. The same applies to the top of the Furkajoch pass, which you reach after an impressive drive from Damüls. This is also a great spot to enjoy a chat with other motorcyclists.
The descent through the Laternsertal towards Rankweil is also a biker's dream come true but be sure to proceed with caution along the narrow and often blind hairpin turns.
As soon as you have passed Rankweil's fortress church, the next set of exciting curves will be waiting. Übersaxen, Dünserberg, and Thüringen are the town names you'll see along this stretch, all of which are connected in a motorcycle-friendly way and offer breathtaking scenery. Before returning to Stuben, we recommend a visit to the lively town of Bludenz and a detour to Brandnertal.
If you're an early bird, you can combine this route with Tour 3: Pfänder & Bödele oder 4: Appenzellerland.
