The host family has been running the house for four generations and combines tradition with innovation. Seasonal regional dishes enchanced with wild herbs and spices from the restaurant's own herb garden are served in the restaurant and café. The kitchen of Arlberg Stuben, which is also a member of Slow Food, scores high marks with specialties such as alpine pig, Ländle fawn, game or hay milk cheese, or dishes for those with allergies, homemade foods such as bread, marmelades, and schnaps brewed from berries & herbs picked at an altitude of 1,400 meters.

The Kaltenberghütte is located like a balcony at an altitude of 2,089 meters with a unique terrace and all-round view. Unspoilt gem right at the junction between the Arlberg, the Klostertal and the Verwall.

Only the best food and drinks are served at the Kaltenberghütte. A large part of the ingredients come from within a radius of about 50 kilometers - and if possible from ecological mountain agriculture. The rule is: As local and regional as possible.

A feast for the eyes and the palette

The comfortable "Alte Gaststube" in Hotel Post originate from the 18th centrury and are still a highly popular à-la-carte restaurant in Stuben. Everyone meets up in the old lounge, as they did then, to chat and enjoy themselves. Fresh products from the region form the basis for a well-rounded, varied menu. Typical Arlberger dishes and international delicacies pamper demanding palettes. The wine cellar is from the 16th century and is not only the storage place for superb wines but also a meeting point for wine tastings during which host Irene lets slip a few wine secrets as a sommelier. Open from the beginning of June to the beginning of October and from the beginning of December to the end of April.
