Circular trail hiking

There are many ways to discover the nature in just a few easy steps even if the weather does not always play ball.

A circular trail hike offers the following in particular: Start at the Albona ticket booth and walk westwards until you reach the river, cross the bridge and then follow the slope. After approx. 20 minutes, you will reach the old road. Follow this into the valley for approx. 200 m, then turn right through the cattle turnstile. After a short climb, you will reach a wide path. Follow this in the direction of Stuben. Just before you reach the main road, a trail leads up to the mountain. Follow this trail. Make sure you always head east and can see Flexenstrasse. Up past Stuben. As soon as you reach the ski lift, walk straight through the meadow down to a further trail. Follow this until you reach the Mondschein Hut, walk past it. Cross the Zürsbach over a small bridge. (It’s worth taking a small side trip to the waterfall directly under the Flexengalerie). Then follow the Flexen trail down into the valley past the swimming pool to Stuben.

Duration: Approx. 2 hours. You can take a shortcut at any time as Stuben is almost always in sight.
