Mondschein’s cuisine is homemade and consists of bread delivered fresh every day from their own bakery to air-dried heifer ham, home-marinated and smoked salmon, foie gras, venison sausages, lard, liverwurst, the well-known blood sausage gröstl or their home-made wine vinegar, delicious marmelades, plum compott through to Zirbelar ice-cream, for example. These are the ingredients for culinary delights which make our guests happy and the cuisine in our à la carte restaurant unforgettable. Don’t forget to enjoy a drop from the original 17th-century wine cellar. Open 7 days, on-going service with warm food, daily from 11.30 am/Mondays to 6 pm.

The host family has been running the house for four generations and combines tradition with innovation. Seasonal regional dishes enchanced with wild herbs and spices from the restaurant’s own herb garden are served in the restaurant and café. The kitchen of Arlberg Stuben, which is also a member of Slow Food, scores high marks with specialties such as alpine pig, Ländle fawn, game or hay milk cheese, or dishes for those with allergies, homemade foods such as bread, marmelades, and schnaps brewed from berries & herbs picked at an altitude of 1,400 meters.
Guests of the Restaurant Arlbergo need not travel over the Brennen as they will find mediterranean delicacies such as antipasti, pasta, a salad buffet and above all pizza in Stuben. Italian specialties, including crispy pizza from an original stone oven and fine wines, will cause the hearts of connoisseurs to beat faster. After the meal, the finest spirits form the culinary highpoint. Open from midday, from December to May.

Fabulous smelling, enticing and delicious creations will tempt you into the restaurant: Guests will be won over by the different types of fondue, international and Austrian specialties as well as cheese spätzle parties, Backhendl (roast chicken), blood sausage gröstl, and sample select wines. All your senses will be satisfied. During the winter season, we are open daily from 11.30 am, 7 days a week.

The comfortable “Alte Gaststube” in Hotel Post originate from the 18th centrury and are still a highly popular à-la-carte restaurant in Stuben. Everyone meets up in the old lounge, as they did then, to chat and enjoy themselves. Fresh products from the region form the basis for a well-rounded, varied menu. Typical Arlberger dishes and international delicacies pamper demanding palettes. The wine cellar is from the 16th century and is not only the storage place for superb wines but also a meeting point for wine tastings during which host Irene lets slip a few wine secrets as a sommelier.
